Love this time of year when the air gets crisp, the grass gets "crunchy", the Fall flavored coffee creamers return to the shelves and it's time to CARVE PUMPKINS! We don't really do much of the Halloween celebrations but we love the pumpkin carving. This is our 3rd year to drill holes in little pumpkins and let the boys go to town with their Mr. Potato Head pieces, works great and I don't have to worry about knives flying every which way!

Parker always chooses the fireman with his fav #... 5.

This is our 3-sided pumpkin! Spiderman in honor of Uncle Teag, only it didn't turn out as we expected. Larry Boy's side was the best effort. And, the last side is the boys' contribution using our pumpkin stamps.

And, here's our sissy who never once cared what mess was being made because she had a pumpkin "purse" to fill with Potato Head pieces!

THEN, our science teacher dad brought home leftover dry ice from his day's experiments. And, that created tons of wide eyes, oohs/ahhs and giggles from our kiddos. Gotta love Noah's pirate pumpkin!

Adding dish soap makes it even more fun!

Savannah finally joining in on some of the fun!

My final attempt to get the pumpkin glowing and see our kids faces... I got the glowing pumpkin and you can kind-of see the kiddos. What fun!
Now, I can't wait to roast the pumpkin seeds after they marinate in salt water and olive oil all night! mmm mmmmm
