family backcountry ski

Christmas morn continues at Momos

Noah got his book from Uncle Teag.  Here he is reading every word and checking out his cool drawings.  Teag is one talented guy!

These guys LOVE their amazing uncles!
Oh my~ this is the most special gift we have ever received!  Grandpa Hal and Popeye have collected British sport cars for quite some time.  Well, this Christmas Grandpa Hal handed the keys to his 1952 MGTD over to Kep.  We are honored to own such an amazing car~ many years of fun will be had in this little car!

Christmas morn

There is nothing quite like the thrill of Christmas morning followed by the reading of Luke to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
Even Rosco got to join in on the fun!  His stocking was a new bed stuffed with fluff and topped with new toys!

Savannah was thrilled to get this sweet jewelry box.  This girl loves her accessories and was really excited to get them all organized!
Ha~ love this boy's expressions.  He was pumped to open this electronic drum set!  I'm not quite ready to have the noise of a real drum set so this will be perfect for a couple years.

Christmas PJs and Cool Beary Yogurt shopping dates!

Noah and Savannah thought it was so funny to find their fav stuffed animal wearing this year's Christmas PJs.  Love our sweet kids.  Parker didn't want to pose on this night but Frank was wearing his PJs too!

This Christmas, we started a new tradition~ the kids drew each other's names and then we took them on individual shopping dates.  We started each date with their first visit to Cool Beary Yogurt and they were thrilled to load their yogurt with as much candy as their tummy could handle!  Noah's fav was the strawberry juice bubbles.  I loved sitting with each one of them and hearing their ideas of what they wanted to buy their sibling.  Such a special new tradition!

Parker's first recital

Parker has improved a TON on his guitar this year, thanks to the amazing Miss Cathy.  She is so encouraging to him.  We were proud of Parker to even get up on the stage but then he played his song perfectly!  So fun to have a guitar player in the family.  Well done son!

carriage ride

One of the many benefits of homeschooling is going on really cool field trips.  Our charter school arranged a carriage ride in the woods.  It was so gorgeous as it had just snowed that morning.  Fortunately, the coordinator had an extra coat for me because Noah had forgotten his at home!

Noah masters the chapter book!

Noah was so proud to be reading Parker's first chapter books~ "Magic Treehouse"!  It's so fun to see your child master reading and enjoy it!

Christmas tree and Gingerbread homes

love, LovE, LOVE this time of year and all the special memories.  The kids love picking out our tree each year.

I LOVE seeing how they decorate it!  This branch is very well decorated by Savannah!

Our cute village with it's cute creators!

Noah is 7!

Noah turned 7 so he got his first pocket knife.  Kep and Parker worked together in the Shop to make Noah's wooden box to store his pocket knife.
He was also pumped to be the first to receive an air soft gun~ bday of weapons!
Thomas and Noah chose to celebrate their bdays together again and they both wanted "Dusty" to be their theme.

Noah~ you are one amazing kid and we are so proud of the awesome guy God has made in YOU!
