Parker's 1st try at comp BBALL
Kep decided to take Parker and his buddies up to the competitive b-ball league. They all had a TON to learn but they gave it their ALL, with smiles on their faces and looking snazzy in their cool STORM uniforms! We were so proud of every one of them. Kep hopes to keep these boys together as long as possible- they all are so fun to coach and watch play ball!

District Chess Tourney
Parker has an awesome group of athletic buddies that LOVE to play chess so Parker decided he would give it a whirl. He picked the game up quickly and qualified to compete in the District chess tournament for 4-5th graders. His Shaw team took 1st place for the 5th year in a row and Parker placed 18th out of 85 competitors. I was rather surprised how exciting and entertaining a chess tournament can be! We were there from 8am-3:30pm on a Saturday and we never got bored! Who knew!?!

boys and their Bibles
Our boys chose to be baptized on September 28, 2014 and then they patiently waited for their Baptism Bibles to arrive in April 2015. They were both so excited to get them and have spent many hours reading and underlining. We pray that they will always LOVE to spend time in God's Word as they do now.

Savannah's family birthday party
Savannah celebrated her actual birthday with family. She requested Tacos and French Silk Pie for the 3rd year in a row! My parents have this sweet tradition of buying each granddaughter the American Girl Doll of their choice when they turn 7. Savannah chose Julie~ her look alike!
What a sweet night celebrating our favorite 7 year old. Love her and all that she gives to our family!

Easter trio
The MGTD joined our family last Christmas so we have decided that our tradition will be to have it as our backdrop for the Easter photo. This Easter it snowed (and melted right away) so the kids were rather chilly in their Easter outfits~ all for mom!

Easter Egg hunt with the "AK cuz crew"
Easter egg hunt at the disc golf course! The Novaks wanted to host our annual egg hunt and they came up with a clever idea~ why not "frolf" while we hunt! It was a hit! Super fun day with our "Alaska cousins"...
Easter eggs
Easter~ absolutely LOVE this time of year! This year, we didn't die hard-boiled eggs because I don't like how the egg shells usually crack in the boiling water. So, we tried blowing out the eggs and I was surprised how easy it was~ this will be our new tradition! Parker was away at a birthday party and he didn't care if we died the eggs without him, just Noah and Savannah. We turned a bunch of the hollowed out eggs into little grass planters. Our lawn doesn't turn green until June so it was fun to pretend by growing it on our kitchen window sill. This will also be a new tradition!
Savannah's sleepover with the Gelatts
Savannah turns 7 on April 10! Hardly seems possible that my little girl is already 7! She wanted to celebrate her birthday early while our dear friends, the Gelatts, are visiting from Michigan. Our 3 boys went over to Momos and all us girlies had some "dolphin" fun. Savannah is super into dolphins after our Kona trip. We attempted to make an aquarium with Jello and Swedish Fish but the fish turned out to be rather gnarly! Sometimes the internet can be helpful but it also leaves out tidbits of information! Haha! What a fun night celebrating with these 4 sweet girls in their matching PJs. Love all of them!
