 These porpoise were amazing!  They surfed in our wake and zoomed in front of our bow for about 5 minutes.  We were blessed to get 4 different porpoise shows during our 3 day trip!

1st boat trip of 2017

Memorial Day in Talkeetna

In Alaska you just never know what you're going to do because the weather changes so quickly.  We had great plans to go boating over Memorial Day with the Smiths but the sea forecast didn't cooperate.  So, we switched gears and loaded all our gear into the camper and went to Talkeetna with the Steers.  We had a blast getting to know the four of them while enjoying this amazing view from their aunt's property.  Such a fun and relaxing weekend!

Remote control boat catches...

Noah got this remote control boat for his birthday.  Kep and Noah rigged a little fishing pole to the top of it and as soon as the ice melted off GGG's lake... they went fishing!  The boat caught a little fish on its very first voyage!
