My grandparents live in an assisted living home here in Wasilla and the kids love to go visit them! We are sad they are both experiencing different types of dementia but nevertheless they are still just as sweet and feisty! Gramma rarely talks but when she does it's to the point and she can only remember the recent events. Where as Gramps still acts as though he's behind his pulpit... he could carry on all day! He especially loves to talk about the past as he can't remember anything that happened longer than 5 minutes ago! Parker loves to visit them because he thinks it's humorous how they bicker with each other (in a loving way, of course!)~ haha! And, yes that would be my gramps sticking his tongue out while lounging in his "drawers" and knee braces!
