Dedication on April 20, 2008

Savannah was dedicated at our church last Sunday. We have made a point of making sure both sets of grandparents are present when our children are dedicated to the Lord through prayer. My parents have always bought each of their grandchildren a dedication outfit to wear on that day and then have as a keepsake. Thank you, mom and dad.

Savannah had an extra special dedication because she is our first child to have had multi~talented~Uncle Teagen in town. So, we asked Uncle Teag if he would be willing to sing her a little song after her dedication prayer. We were so pleased he agreed BUT we had no idea he would spend the next few days WRITING the words AND piano music to her own song. Wow! Uncle Teagen sang her a sweet song and played the piano while the rest of us could not keep our eyes dry! Here is Savannah's song:

THANK YOU, Teag, for sharing your God~given talents on Savannah's special day. We hope you add more and sing at her wedding (if that is ever allowed by dad!)... I'll make sure I remember a HUGE case of Kleenex on that day!!!
